Product Overview – Nitto (Hi‑Cupla / PVR) Female‑Insert Couplers

These are quick‑connect air/water couplers—often called “Japanese‑style” or “Nitto‑style” couplers—that feature a female-threaded socket (insert), commonly known as the SF (Socket Female) type. They connect via one-touch and are widely used in pneumatic systems.

Material, Pressure, and Features

• Body materials: Chrome‑plated steel by default; brass or stainless steel variants are available for corrosion resistance

• Seal material: Typically NBR (nitrile rubber); higher‑temp models may use FKM (fluoro rubber)

• Working pressure: Around 15 bar (~215 psi)

• Operating temp range: From approximately –20 °C to +60 °C, depending on specific series

• Valve feature: Integrated one‑way auto shut‑off valve prevents airflow when disconnected

• Durability: Designed to endure tens of thousands of connect/disconnect cycles (e.g. 100,000 tests)
